Estimating is important, so responsibility for every number ultimately rests with Danks. Each project is estimated and priced from scratch, based on a careful study of manpower, equipment and production rates. We also have the ability to create a 3D rendering of your masonry project as estimated, so you can clearly see what we’ll deliver.

When we’re awarded a masonry contract, we prepare a submittal package detailing the materials to be used – along with samples for final material selections – and provide detailed schedules for each phase of the project. Sample panels can be constructed on the project site for final approval. And since time is money, we’re proactive about placing material orders to avoid construction delays.

The goal is to stay on schedule. We achieve this through efficient project management, excellent jobsite supervision and proficient use of manpower and equipment. And we have a fulltime foreman assigned to every project – so there’s always a clear point of contact and responsibility. A project manager is also part of every project team; this is typically the project estimator, ensuring continuity from start to finish.

Working through our suppliers, we’ll find the right brick for your project – whether it’s new construction or a renovation that may call for staining and the blending of multiple brick styles.

Block – from regular concrete to architectural masonry.

Pre-colored, oversize, split face, ground face – we work with them every day.

Cast Stone/ Precast

Wall copings, pier caps, veneers, watertables, sills and accent banding.

Stone – natural stone or cultured.

Glass Block

Commercial – the majority of our work involves office buildings, hospitals, energy plants, educational facilities and recreational facilities.

Residential – we’ve constructed multi-story condominiums, apartments buildings and custom homes. We’ve also built many entry wall features for new neighborhoods.

Scale – our projects range from small repairs up to multi-million dollar hospital and retail projects. And we’ve constructed masonry up to 100 feet high.

Bonding – payment and performance bonds can be provided as necessary.
